City Hall
The building, now the Town Hall, once housed the Convent of the Friars Minor of the Franciscan Order. Around the middle of the 16th century, monastic life was very active and marked by an intense commitment to charity and humanistic studies.
The exterior of the town hall presents a simple, linear architecture, in contrast to the interior, which stands out for its rich and sumptuous details. A large quadrangular courtyard, overlooked by the windows of the various offices, announces an imposing marble staircase, through which one enters spacious and bright corridors.
